Meet Your Center Director

Anthony Bolden, New Haven Job Corps Center Director

Anthony Bolden comes from humble beginnings and started his Job Corps career at the Dayton Job Corps Center in 1997. He quickly came to understand that Job Corps was his purpose, and now has more than 21 years of experience from several Job Corps Centers. This experience encompassed all aspects of the Job Corps "mission" including service in finance, counseling, residential and career placement. He has served in many leadership roles as manager and director. Mr. Bolden believes that every student should receive the best possible services that Job Corps can provide and is dedicated to making sure he and his staff deliver such services. Mr. Bolden has adopted the Serrato Corporation motto of Embrace, Educate, Equip, and Empower, an E to the power of 4 that encourages innovation, creativity, responsibility and accountability among staff who are key in a successful Center.

Possessing outstanding leadership and motivational skills, Mr. Bolden has led performance improvements throughout his career in Job Corps in support of the WIOA definition of "career pathway." His personal educational and training experience is an example of the "stackable credentials" concept. His career pathway led him to acquire a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, from South University in Cleveland Ohio, all while working and taking care of his family. Mr. Bolden is an excellent role model and mentor for students and staff. His varied experience, educational credentials, and commitment to the program have prepared him for the position of Center Director. He will lead the New Haven Job Corps Center in a continued pursuit to perform as an asset among its partnered industries and communities.
